So this is my current feeling towards my first exam.
oh hello old friend, clueless-ness.

You know when you've gone through every lecture and note possible but when it comes to that day,
the answer is glaring back at you but you just slip up, maybe have a mental blank.

Well, after five minutes of staring I write a couple of dot points and then start expanding.. sometimes with crap.
Perhaps thats why I'm terrible with math, you can't shit through that :/
Somehow I've made it to this academic year so seriously, I thank god for that.

Just got back from a trip to the Macedon Ranges with Li, his sister and cousin.
It's so lovely !
Also, it's so nice to see familiar faces cos we went to visit his other sister and her kid :)

A fishy story

You guys know how much I love A good comic.
I still wish I was a comic book character, preferably in Riverdale.

I would tell Archie to stop whoring around and date Cheryl Blossom's brother, yeah he's a hottie. Oh, I would date him not Archie. Although, I always thought Archie (and perhaps Jughead) were homosexuals in denial.

So here is a memorable one!

When I was seven, my family moved from suburban California to rural Idaho. In an effort to embrace Northern Idaho culture, my dad took me fishing at a lake near our house.

Mostly because I thought that I would get to keep the fish I caught as a pet.
I was really excited.

My dad spent all day showing me how to thread a worm and cast a line.

Every second, I expected to feel a pull on my hook and reel in my new best friend. It never happened.
I was heartbroken.

Even though I never got to meet my fish friend, it felt like he had been forcibly taken from me. My hopes were crushed. As my dad was desperately trying to console me, a kindly fisherman took note and offered to let me have one of the fish he had in his bucket.

I was ecstatic! My mind immediately composed a vivid montage of all the fun times I would have with my new friend.

The fisherman set his bucket on the dock and let me pick out my fish. I chose the cutest fish I could find and lovingly transferred it to my own bucket.
"Hi," I whispered; "My name is Allie. I'm your new best friend."

Once we got home, my dad went to take a nap and I carried my fish's bucket out into our backyard. I set the bucket down and ran as fast as my excited little legs could carry me to fetch a shovel.

I set my friend free in his new home and watched him swim around for awhile. I felt so pleased with myself for transporting this humble little fish from his old life of poverty and hardship to a new life with his very own pond and all the bread pieces he could eat.

After making sure that my fish was comfortable and happy, I went inside to make toys and furniture for him. I glued toothpicks and popsicle sticks together to form miniature chairs and tables. My fish was going to love his new home! I was so excited for him.

An hour or so later, I proudly carried the things I made outside to give to my fish.

As I got closer to the pond, I could already sense that there was something wrong. There were no happy splashing sounds. I couldn't see the water over the top of hole I'd dug. I dropped the fish furniture I had made and broke into a run.

When I reached the pond, I was horrified to discover that most of the water had been absorbed into the ground. My fish was lying on its side, flopping around in about a half-inch of mud-water.

WHAT HAD I DONE???? I immediately got the hose and started spraying my fish with a stream of cold water.

I filled up the hole and waited. My fish floated belly-up in the murky water. Every now and then he would thrash around and try to turn himself over unsuccessfully. I tried to help him stay right-side up by holding him in the correct orientation and then releasing him gently, but he always flopped back over lifelessly. It became clear that he wasn't going to make it.

I knew what I had to do.
I went inside and got my mom's butcher knife.

I didn't want my fish to suffer. I had to be brave for him. I had to do the right thing and finish what I started. I drug the fish over to our brick patio and prepared to end its life as quickly and painlessly as I could.

I held the blade high over my head. It glinted in the sunlight as I tried to steady my nerves.

I took a deep breath and brought the knife down as hard as I could.

I barely dented my fish. It flopped around as urgently as a half-dead fish can, as if to say "OHMYGODI'MBLEEDING!!!!!! WHAT THE F*CKING F*CK ARE YOU DOING???? IF YOU'RE GOING TO DECAPITATE ME, DO IT!!! KIIIIIIIIIILLLLL MEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!"

I began to frantically hack at it, over and over, like a berserk war machine.

I couldn't kill it. My pathetic 7-year-old muscles could not sever the fish's head. I needed help.

I ran inside and woke up my dad.

Imagine, for a second, that you are peacefully slumbering after a nice day of bonding with your young daughter - who you think is playing peacefully out in the yard. You are warm and comfortable and feeling secure about your life. And then you are abruptly woken up by this:

Upon discovering that his daughter was crying and covered in blood, my dad became visibly distressed. He asked me what was wrong and if I was okay and where did all the blood come from? But all he could get out of me were half-sentences interrupted by hyperventilation and random screaming.

I was eventually able to drag him out to the patio where the fish was still flopping around heroically, spattering blood all over our new brickwork. My dad told me to go inside.

From under the covers of my parent's bed, I could hear metal strike brick. Just once. Then my dad came back inside and sat down on the bed next to me. He patted me on the head and asked me if I wanted fish tacos for dinner.

The part about her brandishing the knife and screaming at her dad brings back memories. Well sort of, I did many stupid things and fell down a lot when I was young. I used to come home with blood gushing out of my knees and my mum and dad would be slightly worried.Especially when I would roam around the neighbourhood storm drains the following day and fall again on the open wound. Oh and in the process, I managed to make extra friends with ringworms. The friendship was of course rudely interrupted by my mother's bombardment of medication.

So anyhoo..

Strangely, this comic has made me appreciate the upbringing and care I had from my parents when I was a troubled kid. Love love guys.

I didn't eat for three days so I could be lovely.

Two weeks to exams and I've yet to feel the anxiety and stress that I usually get.
My housemate gave me the first three seasons of Skins and I've been watching episodes after a day of revision. Quite honestly it erases my revision from before because all I can remember is the drama I've just watched.Oh and the lovely face of Tony Stonem.

This song has been on repeat when I get ready in the morning.
I've now heard like 6 remixes of this song but these two are my favourite.

Japan

Japan has always been a place of deep intrigue. The quirkiness that be enjoyed in the people, food and surroundings really draws me to visit their country.

So Biffle and I are planning a trip to Japan !
Where to go is really the pondering question, Japan has so many options!
I guess Tokyo & Osaka are a must but big Asian cities don't excite me.
Quite frankly, I wouldn't mind spending all my time in the country sides of Japan.
I want to see Cherry Blossom flowers in full bloom and enjoy the crisp spring air. Perhaps sit in a hot spring and meet the locals. I met a guy who agreed to give Biffle and I a crash course in Japanese, it'll be as good as my Chinese by the end of the day !

C'mon, all you need to know are the words, toilet, lost, hot guys and ATM right ?

Any destination suggestions will be helpful so drop me some advice !

I'm sorry, I can't blog without talking about suju's Bonamana music video at some point so I'll just get it out of the way :/

About a week ago, I was told that super junior was putting out a new video and I totally creamed myself when I was shown the trailer. I then forgot about it due to the insane assignment which i had to hand in recently. Kindly, I was reminded about it on the day that the video was released, it was plastered everywhere on my facebook home feed! People have seriously gone Suju crazy!

So with shaky hands I clicked on one of the links which started with them flawlessly rotating in rain like the mystical creatures they are. Then BANG ! They break out in this ridiculous dance, it truly is indescribable. And that rose trick Donghae does at 1:58! CORNIUS MAXIMUS. However post ridiculous dance, the video was really good !

Kangin and Kibum were not present in this video but I'm sure you won't notice because there are like ten other hot men flashing their dimples and swept hair. Really, I would like to say abs and other sorts of manly muscles but I wouldn't lie to you.

Check it out, I warned you about the beginning dance and corniness it entails.
My favorite is Kyuhyun, 0:55 lead onwards. If you can't tell asians apart he's solo at 3:23.

Apart on perving on hot men, I have been enjoying the freedom of study period haha. Three weeks to exams and I just got my study schedule typed out. I've just been catching up with good friends, birthdays and food ( well food that doesn't take ten minutes to cook ). I had some people from Queensland come down and I tagged along to show them the sights and smells of Melbourne. I realized that you don't truly appreciate this lovely state until someone from out of of town drops by. Capturing the lights that dot the tall buildings and attractions in the background made me feel tranquility and peace. It was strange because the hustle and bustle of a million people that surrounded me made me feel at ease. Maybe it was just the appreciation which stemmed from being out of the house and around people.

I need new rings, can someone come ring shopping with me please ? :3

What is on my current wish list?

If anyone knows where I can get such items, please tell me. They look fantastic.

I find myself blogging in the dead of night always and I know the reason.
When the sun disappears and everyone retreats to their room, I reflect on my thoughts and the past.
The most occurred thought is "when is time to let go in relationships?"
I know the saying friends come and go but whoever thought of that probably didn't have very good friends. It is not that easy to let go in relationships and friendships.
The past plays on my mind, emotions and memories flood back and I can't let go.
However I know when I'm not as important as I was once in their lives and I guess I'm accepting it. I'm hurt but not naive.

Do you know the feeling of living day to day but not really knowing how you got to this day ? I probably confused some people there but I'm sure others will agree.
The events and actions that have shaped my past have sped by so fast, I felt like I didn't even have control over them. Slow down year 2010 or I may end up making massive mistakes :/ !

Also, this may fit awkwardly with the rest of my thoughts but what is with all the Beiber hate? I don't really enjoy him as a musician and quite frankly I feel like paedo bear just thinking about him but why do people make so many hateful comments about him? With that swept fringe and lyrics relating to the possibility of loving you (yes girl, you), I can understand why a billion under aged girls love him. Give the poor boy a break !

hello all !
So I have realised that I will never be able to stick with my promise of updating every week. I will try to blog more often than once a month though :/

Well, I'll update you with my week then.

I just came back from supporting my sister's 100 km walk, WELL DONE SHAUNA.
It was so tough and some people made the 2 days harder but we survived.

I'm trying to keep my head above homework water but I'm really enjoying uni and made some really good friends.

The Sass and Bide sale was the best sale I have ever been to (actually in competition with Mogil sales) it defines my kind of sale, pushing, piles & racks of clothes and the satisfaction of seeing others having clothes envy with the finds I had.

We got a new housemate, she is awesome I love her already.
She made a roast for dinner and giggled at my lame jokes, need I say more?

I type this quick entry with my eyes half opened, I'm so tired.

I promised not to blog until i got out of my self pitying rut.
So yes, the fact that I am blogging is because I'm out of that rut.

Now I don't usually take advice from a marketable Disney cash cow such as Miley but she did remind me that "life's what you make it so let's make it right, YEAH."
I guess the simple lyrics are written for simple minds and kids to understand but her exuberance is quite up lifting.

Sorry for not blogging.
Honestly speaking, I don't think anyone cares and I just visit my blog when I'm at my highest or lowest points of life. It's obvious where I'm at, at the moment.

I don't enjoy the fact that people from the other side of the world can read my posts, therefore I keep private issues minimal.
However, I remember the main reason why I started this blog about 7 years ago.
Writing helps me reflect and express the anger, hate and negative feelings I bottle up from the week. Not necessarily a mask I've been wearing all week in public but I've been keeping my emotions at bay.
Honestly speaking, I've been an absolute wreck.

The feeling of losing all your sources of strength and support is a terrible feeling.
You feel betrayed, scared and vulnerable.
For me I have that extra strength of god but falling away from him recently has taken a toll. I'm just lost.
Dad told me to refer to psalms 23 when I shared my problems with him.

1 The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,

3 he restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness
for his name's sake.

4 Even though I walk
through the valley of the shadow of death, [a]

they comfort me.

The valley of death verse is my spiritual comfort food.
It was the verse which I repeated in the dark when I thought there was a monster under my bed & it was the verse which helped me get through reality.
Well it's close to 5am and I have probably bored you with my troubles ( if you were even nice enough to read about them ).
For that, I deeply appreciate your time and perhaps concern ? Maybe you're just bored.
I'll end on a happy note.
I went on a little trip with my sister today. We had lunch at Movida and had a shop around Sound Warf. It was a brilliant day, it certainly contributed to building up my cheer. I love you Ta :D

I also decided to purchase some cereal, the choices hurt my head :/
That was only one of the brands I could buy !

I'm terribly sorry I haven't been updating.

I just got back from a weeks trip to sydney with li and I haven't even unpacked my previous trip's bags yet :(

Sydney was mildly sunny and enjoyable, A nice change from the humidity I've had to endure the last 2 or so months.
The thing I missed most was the warm customer service I'm so used to in Melbourne.
Shopping wasn't as enjoyable in Sydney, to be quite frank the shop assistants were cold bitches. They don't greet you when you enter the shop or even acknowledge your presence. It wasn't because they were busy attending to other customers or hanging clothes, most of them were just standing at the counter really, looking bored. How awkward.
An exception was a lovely asian assistant in longchamp, she even complimented li's old spam shirt.

Sydney's transport system also sucks, I spent over ten dollars everyday on concession tickets. Ridiculous.
Why aren't there daily tickets so that my spending caps at a certain amount?
I had to pay everytime I hopped on a mode of transport.

I pay a fixed $14.70 a week on transport here in Melbourne, I spent around the same amount in a day in Sydney. Don't even get me started on adult fees there!
$3.60 for a 10 min bus ride if you are on full fee !
WUT.

Therefore I have ruled out Sydney as a possibility of settlement in the future.

Moving on, I am deeply saddened to say Alexander McQueen has passed.
Although I can't and probably never be able to enjoy his garments ( possibly the target range he designed, which is only sold in America :( ), I always enjoyed his quirky creations in mags and fashion blogs.

R.I.P Lee McQueen, your creations were what the people in my dreams were clothed in.

One of the comments I read on Oh No They Didn't was " GOD WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE ROBERTO CAVALLI INSTEAD? " and I really laughed.

Annoying hell singaporeans.

Hello all :D
I haven't blogged for awhile and I hate to start off on such a bad note.
I know i'm supposed to keep things happy and light spirited around here but I was very angry last night on the train to orchard and it continued to bug me for awhile after the ride.

I can't stand rude HOONS.
They are so rude and think everyone owes them a living !
I was trying to get off the train at Orchard station and this whole rush on people tried to get on when the passengers were trying to get off!

Now everyone knows the passengers on board get off first, on every train door you have Phua Chu kang or Rosie saying " WAIT, LET THEM GET OFF FIRST ".

Yet silly rude Singaporeans insist of shoving themselves on the train first, making it hard for the poor little old lady in front to get off the train.

So i said to the silly people in general:" Can you please wait till we get off first".

It was in a calm voice and I don't even think I sounded catty but this rude shrimpy HOON said :" YOU WALK FASTER LAH ".

D: D: D:

I was blinded with rage at that moment !
I wanted to storm back onto the damn train and wait for the train doors to close so he couldn't escape. Then yell vulgarities and overwhelm him with my size and voice.
But I thought I would sink to his level if i did that, so i stupidly yelled " YOU WALK FASTER ". Which made no sense at all.
I wish I went with the other option.

shrimpy hoons make me so angry !

I promise that the next update will be mega-ega and happier, 3 days till i go back to melbourne !

There are few things that excite me about Singapore.
Family and friends aside, the food,transport system and efficiency of this tiny island lure me back every year.

An unlikely contender has arisen.
Shopping.
I never really liked Singaporean shopping.
The tiny sizing and prices on either side of the pricing spectrum discouraged me from going any much further than buying cheap shoes in far east plaza.

Lately, it has evolved.
I can get a decent dress in Haji lane for Forty odd dollars and many chain stores have graced our island.
Although we have had many malls selling various brands, I always fail to go back to Melbourne with more than two new items.
It has changed and it makes me so excited, I'll tell you.

I love the Brits.
I shout you words of praise and thanks all the way from the other side of the world.
However, there is one shop in particular that has never failed to bring a tear of joy to my eye.
TOPSHOP.

Every time i enter the two story shop, I marvel at the new arrivals, feel the boutique range between my eager fingers and sob with happiness when i see the price tags on the sale section items.

There is no other chain store that makes me so trigger happy.
The adrenaline rushes through my veins as I grab pieces of clothing and imagine what joy and twists they will bring to my current wardrobe.

The mannequins and models on the wall bring me inspiration like no other (non-australian/haute couture) brand.

I shall end my rushed entry before I go to church with my wishlist for the coming dreary months in Melbourne.

A New Year A New Post.

Hello Blogspot, I have missed you.

So i've tried every single online journal this past year.
From live journal to tumblr and they just felt weird, I couldn't blog on them.

So i'm back for the new year, out from my lazy blogging rut.
I think i'll focus on blogging my blessings and friends, maybe a tasty treat here and there.

Lately my friends on MSN have been questioning me what I've been up to
because I've been in Singapore for so long now.
To be honest, the days have been flying by so i answer with "nothing much mang".
But i've been pretty busy.

Starting from the beginning,
the festive week was a blur as usual.
The food, company and cheer were all surreal.
Following, Van paid a surprise visit from Vietnam.
That was a treat, we went out everyday to various places and put on a few pounds.

That busy life is now taking a toll on me,
I'm couch bound, on a no carb diet and sick with a terrible sore throat.
I'm also watching Bandslam, which is a total boring failure, haha.
I just can't be bothered getting up to turn it off and li has the same shirt as the lead guy so my eyes just flicker over when he comes on.

Speaking of li, I'm taking a little trip up to Sydney & Kiama with him to visit his lovely relatives and appreciate the tranquil country side.
He is already there and seems to be having a lot of fun with his relatives so i hope i will have half as much fun :D

Anyway, more recently i've been hanging out with my lovely PL friends, family and doing a little project with nus med students (think i'm not much of a help though :p).

It has all been great and now I just want to lie on my couch and stare at any kind of screen.
Nice start to a new year !

HAPPY NEW YEAR !

Sorry for the delayed wishing.
Well I am still listening to " JOY TO THE WORLD " by the Vienna Boys Choir :/

I enjoyed the last few hours of 2008 again with the same people as i did last year in singapore ( plus melina & others ).

HAHA, this photo wasn't taken on nye but it still makes me laugh.
If you knew why charles isn't wearing glasses in that photo...man.
I would post but don't think charles and the fag would appreciate it.

Well i'm finally back home in Singapore :)
I've been spending most of my days on my parent's room couch,
Chelsea at my feet.

It feels so good to be back home,
I missed the feeling of eating whatever you want from the fridge without asking and not always being on my tiptoes around other people.
I also miss the sound of 2 sets of paws chasing each other around the house,
It has been sadly reduced to a slow patter of old chelsea.
She still mopes around the house,
I'm sure it hurts to loose her oldest & dearest friend.
I now give her extra cuddles and bite her less.

The days here are not as sweltering as I remember,
It is now possible to enjoy a balmy breeze that sweeps through your hair at midday.
Apart from the weather, Singapore stands the same.

Off to thailand this monday :D

THE HIVES

I went to possibly the best concert of my life.
We were right in front of the stage !
I could practically feel arson's spit on me !
IT WAS SO AWESOME.

THAT WAS HOW CLOSE !
Arson kept posing for us, he was my second favourite band member after pelle.

I CUPPED HIS ASS !
and the best thing was that he didn't even mind !

I was jostled, pushed, bashed in the head so many times
I was even close to passing out towards the end.
In the end i was drenched with sweat
BUT IT WAS SO AWESOME.
Definitely a must see show for any live music lover.

This morning i woke up to the vexatious sound of a mosquito and the muggy heat that simply overwhelmed me.
That was when i realised,
summer is finally here.
And it sure took it's bloody time this year!
Well the realisation also dawned when i got out of bed with no pants on.

I have had many good memories associated with my least favourite season.
The late balmy nights, sucking on icypoles that are supposedly the healthy alternative to ice cream ( when actually they are like 100 percent sugar )and my absolute favourite, the exaggerated procrastination that can be blamed on the heat.

Isn't it true?
Anything not worthy of your time can be blamed on the heat.
Also, sitting on the couch till you are practically glued to the leather is acceptable cos you are "too hot to move".
Well the lemonade that dribbled down your neck could've contribute to your stickiness but hey,
you are " too hot to clean it up" so let the ants come forth!

The weird thing is that my uncanny resemblence to a sloth in this weather is shared by many others .
Come hell or high water, we will be there on mats sunning ourselves.
I distinctively remember lying in my front lawn with my sister,
bacon & egg sandwich and suntan lotion in hand.
Also the holidays at asian destinations ( + mum nagging to put on a thick layer of sunscreen ).
I leave for mine in 6 days!
Despite the issues in thailand, I'm excited !

However, that means this leaves 6 days to cram in as much time with li and friends :(
Oh, I haven't blogged properly about li yet.
But i don't think that i will cos it's just cheesey :p
I can say that i'm starting to really like this boy and i'll be missing him when i go back to asia.

We took an essential summer trip to the park with his dog yesterday.

To watch a scorching day turn to a balmy night should be on everyone's summer to-do list.
Breathe in the distinctive smells of parched flora and watch the red sunset.
Call out " FAIL! " to the practising cricketers on the field and make out in front of annoying screaming kids.
Kick back and relax to the sights and sounds of summer, it only comes once a year.

I'm going to the hives concert tmr with ray and i am SO EXCITED.
I wonder if i can wait out the back jamie cullum style
so that i can wail " ILOVEYOUPELLEYOUHOTSTUFFILOVEYOU!"

The christmas cheer has come and gone
leaving me so tired and fat :/

I spent christmas day with Li and christmas night with shauna and the ongs.
Despite not having my parents around for christmas (sadface), it was one of the best christmases i've had.
As usual, preperation of xmas food started the night before.

I finally watched ~TWILIGHT~ last night
and the baseball scene HAS to be the best scene !
The combination of Edward Cullen, Muse's supermassive black hole and thunder claps made me squish li's hand into mush.
Jasper ( the last vampire brother to bat ) is suprisingly hot too.
It was exactly how i imagined it to be when i was reading the book.

I loved twilight, all the haterzzzz to the left :p

so i've been a bit of a slacker lately,
my phone is still inactivated/barred and i spent most of today on a rug &
in the sun but hey,
i'm on my four month break.

well it was melina's bday a couple of days ago and i couldn't call her myself cos of the phone thing and all (and even though i made anu call you on behalf, i still feel unfulfilled)

so i shall dedicate an entire post to you haha ( as i have for the last few years i've had this blog ? haha)

well melina what can i say that you don't already know, haha
you know you are one of my closest and most dearest friends
i tell you bascially everything and despite our distance
we still manage to bicker over msn haha, but you know i still love you
you are seriously the first friend i call when i'm in need (mainly also cos you are all action and no talk) and maybe cos you've been my fob bffl since year 7 ?
we can chat for ages and not have any awkward silences
plus our winter/spring/summer/autumn lists are always the longest out of any of my friends :)

well i had an exam in the morning which went okay i guess, i just changed a couple of answers at last min..finding out taht my first answers were right -_-
but it was okay , i finished early for once so i skipped out of the exam hall
and went to lunch with tute people.

um then i came back and pretty much slept the whole day cos the exam was at 9 and i was sorta cramming till four the night before.
then at night we went to eat MEXICAN :D

When i was in Melbourne, we took a turn to stop by our old high school.
Old is really the word, although it was only last year that we left them grounds.
It looked exactly the way we left it,
new buildings , clean grounds and unnecessary memobilia of totem poles and structures resembling the female gentalia still erected on the walls.

As we sat on the cricket pitch, the rustling of the leaves took us back to all the times we had in high school and what it had to offer.
Helping me get to what i wanted do in life and offering me all the great friends i have made in the past, i couldn't help but just miss school a tad bit.

It was midnight & dead silent but the calming ambience I never noticed surrounded me.
Then a convertiable drove on the oval and started chasing us around in circles.
It was f*ing scary and i think i have serious fingernail holes drilled into my forearms
but the unnecessary thrill was worth our little reminiscing session.

you know, when i saw these photos of the jonas brothers on trl today,
i didn't find it funny that the girls were going absolutely psycho over them.
i prob would have made an equal fool of myself in front of the whole world if joe sat next to me.
heck, i go psycho when my fav cafe runs out of pesto foccacias.

anyway, we did work on cadavers today.

firstly, look at that photo of me and the ice cream in my main photo on the top right.

guess what i did
i tried scaring my friend by banging my hand on the door on our way out
and my ring cracked in multiple pieces..
so much for a metal ring..it was just hard plastic
i'm such a loser -_-

back to the cadavers,
all was good until i got home and decided to make myself a sandwich with salami.
man, i am off salami for the rest of my life.
the stench and sight of the cadaver popped in my head after smelling the salami

today my housemate and i rocked up at some church in kings meadows
it was one of those modern churches ( ala citylife/crossway)
and i think it overwhelmed my dear housemate.
don't think shes going back, haha.
i have although, after 6 or so months
finally found my church?
i duno the guys there are hot :p

anyhoo, the china olympics opening ceremony.
i don't know what to think
i guess it was good..
however my housemates ditched me in the first 10 mins..haha

as usual, i had hospital work last friday
i felt kinda useless...
all these paitients were asking me for stuff and medications to relieve their agonising pain

but alas, i could do nothing :(

some paitients are sneaky though
they ask me for stuff the nurses refused to give them
and me being the student nurse, i have to be all coy and sweet
so they think i would just give in to them
in hope that i had no clue about their restrictions ( which i don't, haha )
and would give it to them

stuff like extra food and medication
an extra cup of tea is not much to us .. but it could've killed someone who had a stroke or with fluid restrictions.
i also had to go for some boring talk abt diabetes and working some machine.
lately i've been thinking
am i right for this job?

nurses seem so...paitient and (mostly) diligent
they are always scrutinizing their work for flaws and medical errors..
bascially stuff i am shit at cos i'm the queen of fast work and hastiness :/

3 deaths in a month

i've been hit with 3 deaths in 1 month
although i did not know any of them personally,
i'm sure the impact of their lives have left a hole in their family and friend's lives.

one of the deaths i experienced was on prac..
as i watched the shock flood the family's faces when they saw their dad/uncle/grandpa with a morbid shade of grey and mouth agape..
i realised the loss of the life affects the family and friends of the dead person more than the dead guy himself :/
i don't know if that made sense -_-

what really touched me was when the guy finally passed away, the nurses held his hands for about 20 mins..
and i asked my buddy nurse, " why do they hold his hands after he died ? "
and she replied " noone should die alone "
and at that point, i remembered why i admire nurses so much.

but anyway the guy died from a heart attack .. when my friend attempted to draw blood from him.
i joked that she killed the guy
and soon realised what just happened was pretty life scarring and my joke was quite inappropriate, haha
i have alot of growing up to do -_-

launceston general

well i'm currently in my bed ( and its 9pm only omg :O)
with the electric blanket on it's highest setting..
becasue i just finished a gruelling 8 hour shift at the hospital
and my legs... the pain has only just settled in.
but the weird thing is that i actually got up on time this morn , 5:30 am actually..
without any rolling around !

nevertheless it was a really productive day, i really liked the nurses at the launceston general.
the 8 hour shift felt like 4 hours only to be quite honest, time just zipped by.
the horror stories for this week are quite mild.

only discovering a woman who laid in her pee for a while ( and me having to redo her whole bed ALONE while the buddy nurse showered her )
and measuring the blood sugar levels of a parkinsons disease paitient with some virus in an isolated room ( we had to wear plastic gowns and gloves and everything just to measure his blood sugar levels ) , he moved so much that it made me 8978970 times more nervous.. then i jabbed/forced the diabetes blood sugar measuring swab thing ( its late ok -_- ) into the bloody prick so he jolted and moved so much that i freaked out -_-
i quickly ran out after doing a rather shabby job.
sigh.

but the launceston general nurses it are quite unlike the renal nurses at the alfred 2 years ago, they just ate like every half an hour ( breakfast, brunch, morning tea, lunch , coffee break, afternoon tea etc ) and made me sit on the floor to twiddle my thumbs..
fine, maybe cos i was an inexperienced yr 10 : /
oh they were all fat too, probs from their multiple meals.

well i have a week for my legs to recover, same thing same time next friday !
im actually excited for the renal ward, is that wrong ?
gona ask if i can do a day in paediatrics though.

anyhoo, do you know which trend is boring me ?

today i started the readings for bioscience.
i was all pumped until i got to page 3 and lost interest.
now i'm looking at food blogs and vey upset that i can't have my xiao long bao :(

On the other hand , my housemate's friend actually made pasta from scratch ! So he brought over the eggy fettucini and we soaked it in alfedo sauce : p

At first i was all , NAH gonna have like 1 strand !
That led to 2 strands, 3 strands ... and soon half a bowl
it was so tasty.

But now i want xiao long bao :(

What other thing that pisses me off is my clinical prac.
I thought everyone got placed in crappy wards like me.
but when i rocked up to my tutes , everyone was like in paediatrics and other cool wards :(

i know its weird.
but today i was rudely awoken by the postman with my new leather ankle boots.
and now in the midst of studying for my exams,

it is quite inappropriate.

well the sunny autumn days are over.
we now go to uni with ridiculous amounts of clothes on and scarves pulled tight enough around your neck to choke. funny thing though,i was celebrating the last day of uni and all these girls were in the SHORTEST skits and the LOWEST necklines. i don't even know what names to call them cos even sluts are warm blooded and need to maintain their body temperatures with more than just a piece of cheap silk and a bow on it.
they're super sluts i guess, the daughters of the sluts themselves.
you know how fast they multiply, they evolve faster than pokemon.

i must say though, i too have some of their unbelievable temperature coping powers.

when i first let it around the house.. it ran under the bed and it took me SO long to coax it out from under the bed !!!

finally after dragging it out it ran around scratching the sides and stuff so i put it on 1 really long leash ( made out of 3 of millie's leashes )

then it jumped in MY floral cool chair and started licking it's balls !!

so now i have confined it to the laundry basket.

the drama does not stop there.

when i walked out of the door, seriously i am not crapping.
it STUCK out its paws , CLAWS AND ALL
and scratched my leg !!
now its bleeding and the area around it is raised and i think i'm having some kind if allergic itchy reaction !!

Deary me, the weather is quite grey hey?
Today i opened the door to let the strange old lady in ( she wanted to give us petrol vouchers, haha cute )
and my , was it pouring !

so i warmed myself a cup of milk,tightened my bathrobe and sat down with the lastest vogue.
usually vouge is just to look at cos the clothes are just to die for and the styles are sometimes..
unique?
hard to carry off in the real world.

then i started to imagine the style of this winter's clothes.
i used my friend polyvore.com to put together one of my many dream outfits for the deary days.

now who wouldn't want to step out in a zac posen dress ? the marc jacobs coat shields it from getting ruined while the miu miu ankle booties keep you high from the mild flash flood.
unnecessarily the louis vuitton shades are added but they can always be used to shade your sky high lashes from running past your red lips ! the pocket umbrella is in the chanel bag if you need it and the space mermaid necklace can be used for luck ( that no car splash wets you ).

hmmm, in reality all i can afford are the top shop tights and the juicy tube :p
but i can dream !

phew.
i had my first all nighter and hopefully my last one.
despite having actually started my assigment on time i ended up literally finishing my assigment at 7:40 am ..
uni was starting the next hour.

i stank like death

i don't actually think i have pulled an all nighter before -_-

but i don't know what came over us

fel called me at like 12:30 panicking about photocopying our references for proof
then i remembered during orientation the dean of nursing made it clear that " PEOPLE WHO PLAGARISE CAN EXPECT TO BE EXPELLED FROM UTAS "

and then i started panicking and almost had a meltdown.
ok , well not really

harvard referencing and footnoting is pretty easy but i still actually stressed over it..i guess it was a change from high school..
when i used to just chuck a bunch of websites together and handed it in.
i also conviniently forgot to print the utas assigment coversheet so i panicked even more -_-

changed woman ._.

today we had this optional nursing info session in between out tutes
it was so cold outside so we salvaged in the warm lecture hall despite being bored to death.so we started eating MORE chocolate caramels and photowhoring.

she was talking about the libary and refs ,
everyone knows they were here to hide from the cold.

they are so blurry cos i whipped the phone out of sight everytime the lecturer looked our way
and yes, that was the only okay looking photo of me(only cos its blurry)
the rest are seriously like EYEBAGS and ZOMBIE WHITE SKIN..
i bet if you zoomed you could spot some crusty bits on my face from the bread i bashed my face on my study table after finishing my assigment.

today my friend fel and i exchanged easter chocolate and before i knew it i wolfed down half of the bunny.
you know when you break off the pieces of chocolate, they are really thin and you feel .. unsatisfied :[
so you end up eating half of the egg or bunny -_-

so i thought, but the chocolate pieces are soo thin! surely i haven't eaten much! i actually ate 12 grams of saturated FAT !! in like 50 grams of chocolate or something

i finally took a trip down to scenic hobart !
and man, it is a pretty lil town !

and it had pretty boutique shopping !!
something launceston will never have : [

well back tracking to like 6am in the morn ..
i was waiting for the other 3 girls in the car with the dog ( being dropped off at a friend's house )
i was listening to my ipod..being unaware of my surrounding when.. suddenly .. i started to ROLL.
NO JOKE .
THE WHOLE CAR ROLLED DOWN THE DRIVE WAY !

it took me like 5 seconds to notice cos i was listening to music..
then started screaming and finally jumped out..
my housemates looked out of the door to see what was going on and saw the car roll across the street and into my neighbour's fence -_- ( with the dog still in car )

the funny thing is that when shaq rushed out she started fussing over the dog -_-
leaving me standing there looking abit dazed.

she claimed its cos the dog was actually in the car when it crashed.

lucky it was 6am and the road was clear or there would've been some deaths.

well like half an hour later we embarked on "road trip to hobart with smashed bumper"
shaq was strangely happy singing and touching stuff in her car while hope was clutching onto the side handles begging shaq to focus on the road when she saw a massive truck on the other side of the road.

well 2 hours later ..
we finally reached hobart !

first stop salamanca market !
its abt a bit bigger than camberwell market and had REALLY GOOD FOOD.

and i saw these pet rock necklaces in a shop and was depressed when i found out it was 39 bucks..for a rock on a necklace. -_-
so i didnt get it.

ill paint my own rock thank you .

after that we met the ..er strange old lady that likes me alot -_- and her 2 guy friends.
when she mentioned to me back in launceston that her 2 male friends who were meeting us down there..i thought they would've been around 70 like her.

but they turned out to be like 20 -_-

then we had lunch and did like 4 hours of shopping :D
sad cos in that 4 hours, we were supposed to vist the cadbury factory..but it was closed !

i have an off day from uni today
yes, i have been waking up 25 mins before uni starts for the last 3 days and hectically rushing up a hill and jogging at a fair speed for like 10 mins,banana and yoghurt that i shoved down before running out churning in my stomach.

today i didn't have to do that.
no, i was staying in bed till 3.

however at 10am the door bell rang twice and my housemate wasn't home so i peered outside my window to find the lady from next door standing there.

you think thats ok.
yeh it is but this lady has been coming over alot lately.

it all started 3 nights ago
she came over to vist my housemate and give her something but shaq wasn't home so i invited her in and gave her timtams :p

she ended up staying for 4 hours -_-
telling me her life story about how her mother never loved her and her husband who was abused when he was young so he also never showed her affection :/

that was okay, i could take that
but she has been coming over every night since
sort of finding excuses to come over like bringing a toaster oven over one night
which we don't need cos we already have one..and vegetable pastries

i got kind of scared when she said how she saw me running to uni and commented how my hair was so bouncy.
i had a scary image of her sitting at her window watching who crosses her nature strip,obviously she doesn't do that -_-
but that scared me.

which brings us back to this morn.
i ripped open the shutters to see the cause of my rude awakening.
for some reason , i didn't feel obliged. so i like ducked down into my bed and FROZE :p i felt really awful as she kept ringing my doorbell but i really wasn't in the mood for visitors at such an early hour.

Now i feel so evil cos i know she is a lonely woman :p

staring at the display of cakes that started from the ceiling.

anyway i got back home feeling all upset cos i have to leave a fair few good friends behind when i leave this monday.

so i went to bed with alot on my mind.

this morn i get 2 but effing annoying calls at 10 T_T
at the same time.
no joke.

i was first woken up by my new and VERY LOUD ringtone
asking me to record a voice mail msg
i totally screwed it up and and my voice sounded crackly cos i just woke up

and now i can't change it , effing hell.
i'm just not gonna activate it, HAH stupid voicemail.

then 5 mins into the call, my familiar mylo ringtone came from the other side of the room.

it was the latrobe enrolment people.

they started persuading me and calling utas "not as good"
which is sorta true for latrobe, it is better for nursing.

then i asked the magic question

and she said ,

no.

so i said "okay thank you"
and hung up -_-.

and went back to fixing my voice mail msg but i CAN'T !!

the post office closing and here comes shauna running like a psychopath screaming and waving her hand telling them " STOP NO DONT CLOSE" and me running after her with a bloody 20kg box full of clothing

but i get lost cos i have been to monash university like 3 times in my entire life and having to walk like 800m with this box making me cranky.. so i use every strength in my body to carry it but when shauna runs back to find me, i jam my finnger in the sliding door and drop the box hence having a mini bitch fit.

then some nice hippie druggo comes by and offers to carry the box so he carries the box for the remainder of the journey.
but when he gets there..we realise we left the address of the house in car so i have to RUN back to the car and shauna rings mum and chris up shrieking :p

and i spent 15 min running around finding the car cos i didnt take notice of where we parked the car.
finally i come back and find out that chris got the add online -__-

anyways i caught up with them two geeks last night :)

we went to a dingy bar in st jeromes st, hidden seconds away from melbourne central

at first, i was like O_O
cos the exterior of the bar was literally this hole in the wall
stationed in a lane full of "artistic graffiti".

man, it was only like 7:30 but the bar was so packed ..
but then again , being so small , like 5 people would have made it packed.

hahha joke.

it was a change from the hoards of annoying clubs donning stupid names such as FLIRT with douche bags spinning overplayed house tracks , you know clubs which are dripping with pretentiousness that seem to be proliferating at such a fast pace.

makeshift is a word that came to mind as soon as i walked into the courtyard full of milk crates and dirt.

i have never been to such a place in me life :p
it felt like paris and half expected je veux te voir to play and the lovely lads from trop la classe to stroll in.

watched it with shauna and laura.

well juno is based on .. juno and she was at her pupal stage where mostly everything she cared about were at her fingertips.. but she falls pregnant and HAHAAHAH, i wish my pregnancy stages in the future would be as funny as her's.

it is indeed 4am.
and i think i am suffering from insomia

in a time span of about 2 hours, the stupid don't hold back song has played at least 10 times on various music channels. i am so sick of it.
if i hear it again , i just may throw my laptop at the tv.

well today i went to my ex homestay to pick up my rmit uni package.
and i got an acceptance package from the uni of tasmania.
and i was like what the heck cos i didn't sign up for..tasmania -_-
alas. it was my sister :p

Well,the last few days have been spent with the singapore kids

backtrack to sunday
i headed to the city with the girlies
we met mish's boy :)
and had a picnic !
no photos though cos anu hasn't sent any.

after that i went to planetshakers with the singapore kids

well today was my day off from being a tourist.

and i was quite happy in my bed this morning cos i haven't slept in for the last week or so but my mother came in telling me i have 3 immunisations today.

THREE !!

polio , dipetheria and some other unheard disease that maybe infecting like an eighth of uganda's population

so i went to the general hospital only to be injected in both arms by a trainee nurse who made it so much more painful

not wanting to be rude, i asked : " so..new job ? "
and she gave me a nervous giggle which made the needle shake a bit IN MY ARM !!

argh. most painful injection ever.

well new years is around the corner and the guys, xinni and i were thinking of camping on the beach.

then we figured it was a bad idea cos we had no tent and you know, singapore's weather isn't the best at the end of the year.
so i don't know what we're doing now :/

any suggestions ?

and no , i'm not going to the city.
it'll just be 2006 all over again

last night was one of the most emotionally and physically stressful nights i've had, HAHA.

i went to bed after finishing ONE LITRE OF TEARS T_T
that drama made me cry and i usually dont cry at such trivial things.
but omg when she couldn't dial her mother's number i just cried and cried and well cried.

i cried alot when the guy cried too.
yeh that was about it. the rest of the sad moments were too set up and forced.

so finally at like 3am,i curled up in bed, my vision still kinda blurred from tears and drifted off. when i was half asleep i heard loud fluttering and banging against my paper bags and bottles.

i opened my eyes slightly and to my fright i dont know but i thought i saw a figure SITTING ON MY BED at MY TOES. i dont know it could've been my fan's outline of something but oh my gawd at the time.. i felt like my insides wanted to come out.

i jerked up in fright and slammed the light switch on to find THE BIGGEST MOTH EVER EVER EVER ( at least 8cm ) fluttering around my shelves.

( yes i drew on red dots as eyes to make it look more evil. THAT PHOTO DOES NOT DO ANY JUSTICE FOR THE MOTH'S SIZE, it was WAY bigger)

well i knew it was there cos it flew in earlier that night but i thought i left.
i opened the balcony door but man this moth was an angry sob.
it kept swooping at me and it even whacked me on the head.

then OMG , i thought back to the time when my primary school friends told me dead people are moths - -

and being vunerable after that stupid drama show and i actually believed it for a second .when it finally landed on my curtain i threw my vtac guide at it.

MOTH BLOOD :P

it fell behind the tv stand .. and i quickly shoved the tv stand further back and i could hear it squeal as i was prob crushing that b&^*(.

then i blocked the gap between the wall and the stand with books so it couldn't like resuracte from the dead or smth. :p

i tried going to sleep but i couldn't so i went to my parent's room to sleep on their couch :p

when i told my mother abt the prob imagined figure, she gasped " NONSENSE ! THIS IS A CHRISTIAN HOME"

anyway today my male dog went to the vet so my female dog looked kinda sad - -
i took her to coffee bean to chill with me, LOL.

she looked kinda angry at me. maybe she knew i killed a fellow creature.

last 5 or so days have been the bomb although its horribly hot..but i'm not tanning for some reason.

i've been to kuta, some place next to kuta , lovina ( boring ) and now im in ubud(phunphun as the fair maiden would put it )

um i've been beaching, eating , going to cooking classes with hot english men , sitting in smelly mineral springs , getting balinese massages & facials and running around in the rain and away from beggars.

tmr im going for those scary rapid rafting trips with shauna and i'm kinda scared cos i guess there is a possibility that you can be thrown out from the raft and onto a rock.

so while i am having sooo much "fun" hitting my head on rocks and catching colds in rain.. i hope you all are studying for spesh and language exams.

been in the libary and lectures for the past 3 days.
that was prob the most exciting thing that has happened to me.

exams are FINALLY getting to me. ( thank god )
my nails are bitten down to the quick and my hair is always extremely messy after libary sessions.

Yesterday i was very restless and to make things worse i had to force myself down to study and fix those bloody light bulbs. I also ate alot of rice.. making me bloated.
This made the perfect solution to being cranky.

But laura called me with her cheery voice to ask if i wanted to hang out tonight.
So i walked ( a very long walk & it was very windy making me more cranky )over to mish's at around 8 after i had done everything.

I know this sounds very cliche and corny but when i saw the estatic faces of my friends..my troubles all melted away. :D

We felt like having a slurpee so we decided to walk to 7-11.
Anu just had to take this crazy LONG ROUTE which involved a scary graveyard like park.

more like pushed to the park by anu :p

fiona and i clutched onto each other .. pretty much the whole time with 000 readily entered in our mobiles. Unlike fi and i ..the other 3 looked so excited.

IS GETTING RAPED BY HOBOS EXCITING HUH HUH ? T_T

Anu wanted to go in the maze ( which pretty much freaked me out more cos i thought of the harry potter maze..with high bushes)

but turned out to be this ..wooden short maze..
anti climax lah.

still scary cos laura would get on the ground and grab our feet.
She didn't grab mine ( cos i went through the maze like once and refused to go back in) but the screams of the other 3... i knew she was still doing it.

to top it off..at the exit of the park sat the MOST SCARY HOUSE IN BALWYN T_T
The architect or owner must be seriously on crack to create such a weird house

it was SOOO SCARY

IT had strange statues and a SUN DIAL in the front.
It also had stained glass with gaurds with swords on them
On the roof it had many wind catchers and .. spinning things and victorian like structures ... like the ones on typical haunted houses.
IT LITERALLY LOOKED LIKE EDWARD SCISSORHAND'S HOUSE.
Alike edward scissorhand's house ..It was scary but had a strange aura of mystery to it.
AND IT WAS ABANDONED

IT WAS SO SCARY.

yeh the only sensible thing was to go in, DUH.
SO since it was hard waste collection day.. we scouted around for weapons just incase someone decided to attack us 5.

that photo does not do the house any scary justice..
It actually looks nice.
BUT NO !! it gave me chills -_-
Also when i took that photo , fi was like : imagine when you upload them and saw something staring at you from the window.

eep.

i could only get to the side of the house before chickening out.( it was pitch black)
So fi, anu and i clutched onto each other as we saw silly laura and mish run to the back of the house.

We could could only whisper-scream " COME BACK " as we were terrified of strange squatters and hobos living in it.
i also took one photo cos when i took that one photo , anu and mish waved their hands madly with the O_O face. HAHAHHA
Geez, everyone is so scared of hobos -_-
i was more scared of the supernatural things.

When laura and mish came back from the back they told us they had statues with grey cloths over them and had weird lamps and OMG, they are so brave.

yeh we tried to open all the doors and stuff but they were all locked.
so we left in fear of the security system going off.

then we hiked for another hour and laura and i walked back from mish's house ( VIA MAIN ROADS MOM, ALOT OF CARS ) which was another 45 mins.

My feet had blisters and stuff ( sand, mud , twigs) from the night and my hairs were still standing on end
IT WAS AWESOME.

so i don't usually blog when i'm pissed ..
unless its about that woman

but today was one of those days ..
THAT REALLY GETS MY BLOOD BOILING
and keep in mind,only some things get me as pissed as i do with that woman

to start things off
i woke up to that bloody wasabi barking like the annoying low life it is
it wasn't the ..normal .. woof.. woof ..woof like my dogs..

it was the high pitch YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP YAP
god knows what it was barking at BUT I FELT LIKE GETING UP AND KICKING IT OUT OF THE GARDEN.

Then the internet wasn't working till about 4 so i was re-reading Man for all seasons
i was reading the book at my study table cos the light above my bed blew like 1 month ago and i have been meaning to fix it..
zzz.. :p

Well for those who don't know my light sources in my room are 3 dim lights on the walls.Well, 2 out of 3 blew a while back and sus tried to fix one of them but wrecked it more so she gave up.

But today as i was reading that stupid book , THE 3RD LIGHT BLUB BLEW.
It didn't just .. go out
IT ACTUALLY EXPLODED leaving me in the darkness..
ok not really..the floor lamp was on and it was day time.

Anyway i heaved the biggest sigh ever and went to search for spare light bulbs.
All i found were cheap home brand ones..which prob explains the crazy explosion.

I fixed one light and felt pretty proud of myself :p
then went onto the next one which susanna spoilt by yanking just the glass bulb out..leaving the casing? (i can't really explain )

i could not take the casing out so.. i had to use a pair of scissors.
YES. SCISSORS WITH METAL BLADES.
it was the only thing i could use that gave grip.

I started off quite cooly.. twisting it and trying to get the casing out.
I was actually doing it gingerly .. afraid that i was going to be electrocuted
After 15 mins it IT STILL REFUSED TO BARGE
..so i started hacking away at it quite ferociously

after about .. 20 mins IT FINALLY CAME OUT
cos i twisted it down to a pulp of metal.

Putting the lightbulb in took me about 5 mins cos it wasn't one of those easy twisty ones. It was the weird types.

I turned on the light to try it out and guess WHAT
THE OTHER LIGHT BLUB I JUST FIXED EXPLODED !!!

WHY WHY !! IT WAS WORKING WHEN I TESTED IT OUT BEFORE !!

so at this point i was so angry that i think i was damaging the light bulb rather than fixing it ( rolls eyes )
plus angry music such as queens of stone age,linkin park and the strokes was playing in the background so...
" WHY WON'T YOU COME OVER HERRREEE WE GOT A CITY TO ROOOAMMM " * HACK HACK HACK*
i was like a savage ..hacking at it in rhythm to the angry music..

okay.. well i had to pull out the exploded case from the other light bulbs too so really in total

IT TOOK ME ONE HOUR TO CHANGE 3 LIGHT BULBS

after changing them .. i fell face first into my pillow and didn't get up for an hour.

*sigh*

mummy also gave me encouragement and angry talk over msn :(
so today i studied well..
i hope i can keep up the habit :p

Well on monday, Melina came over and helped me clean my room. I had a frenzy of nothing-to-wear yesterday and left my bed in an utter mess.

don't kill me :P
nah i hung up everything again cos that woman kept pestering me to clean it up.
no not melina, homestay woman.

Homestay woman left out a bowl of lindt chocolate and i was very happy :P
It isn't very often that she puts out such..things in my homestay.

I have been living in my libary for the last 3 days.
Well yesterday i went to the state libary with my sister who constantly touched my hair and annoyed me and when i talked she'll be like DO YOUR WORK !

Today i went to box hill libary with melina and the Homies ( cha cha got a hair cut ! well done,next step is to know how to wax it eeediot :P)

ALL 3 OF THEM pulled out their spesh maths and latin and other super hardcore subjects they do and i was like :( cos i had trouble even understanding my biology.

Then i started doing my economics and hayden was like : HEY chacha got top in economics last year !!!

baha, instead i went with my other 2 bffs and my super duper extremely manly hardcore (rolls eyes)asian homies,

If you strain your eyes hard enough, maybe JUST maybe you can find the inconspicuous bits of unmanliness in them ( like when they stop to smell the flowers) :D

well yes, we did go to karaoke but they made a stop at the supermarket before we went.Melina and i didn't go due to lectures but melina really wished she did.

david bought home brand cheese rings.
that is like the equivalent of .. ice or supre in clothing :T

i duno, melina got super pissed and tried numerous times to hide/dump the homebrand food.she did manage to throw away the marshmellows to david's horror.

anyway we finally got to karaoke where we were quite..qiuet at first.

we pretty much sounded very incoherent and just sang lalallla when we didn't know what to do.

that was me when they sang chinese songs.
i sang the easy and the end word extra loudly so they thought i knew what i was doing. to tell the truth i was pulling words out of my ass.

baha,nah..i knew some words :D

then melina and i did a duet.
i was of course the man as i have such a low voice.
You can see they are really cracking up at me :(

After like two and a half hours of singing ( and a freakin hoarse voice ) after belting out lyrics of In the end and NumaNuma xD

we celebrated chacha's bday :D

after karaoke we went along southbank to eat at bearbrass

Finally to end the night
we took a loooooooooooong walk around the yarra to sit on the ferris wheel :p

it was so long but i looked at burning off calories time :P
so xinni and i put our power shopping walk on and sped off in front.
strangely, so did mic and david ..leaving melina and charles behind.
how unfortunate :)

well we managed to fit out 6 butts into one tiny carriage but at the top ,
melina had a bit of a panic attack and refused to look out.

it was all nice and calm for like 10 mins but as soon as we got out of the carriage.
we had to go back to our power walk routine as we all had the same bus to catch.
and it was the last bus of the night -_-
meaning if we missed it.. we prob had to sleepover with the bums in the city.
