=> yesterday , i went to the city with anu . I caught up with her cos at school we dont talk deep stuff. i just realised , anu is the only girl in the whole school who i have been good friends for the longest. erm wait did that make sense? i ment that she is the only girl who i have been friends since yr 7 and kept as a friend. oh there is melina too =p

a random rant ( and bagging of nurses ) on a friday night.


i am sad =(

nursing didnt really turn out the way i wanted it to be. Today was prob the most boring day at "work" . i got to the alfred right , and got partnered with kate -_-"
she is like this really uh plus size woman with like kids and an african husband ( cute kids i would reckon though , one is my age .. SICK , ill stalk him =p ) i get there and she is like lets go bother paula ( bitch nurse i got assigned to yesterday .) so we did .. whe she was like bathing a fat old man -_-

i was like : '' do we really had to bother her now."
kate :'' yes.''
jan : '' but she is like bathing a faa......an old man !"
kate : '' so ?''

and it was so horribly smelly in there cos the paitient cant stop sweating and he had some bowel problem . =/ so i was stuck in there for 1/2 an hour just hearing a doctor blab about how he is not well .

then like half an hour later , we went to MORNING TEA ! HALF AN HOUR LATER !!!!! So basically, i get to the alfred , and half an hour later i go to an hour long break of just sitting there and eating lollies, drinking coffee and hear the nurses bitch about paitients.

lovely , we get out of morning tea yeh and kate sits at the satelite stations and uh did something? i dont know what she did, sit there i guess. so i sat on the floor and like .. stared at her and her nurse friend for like 2 hours .

i was abt to doze off when kate was like JANEAN !!

me : yes -_-
kate : bed 27 needs looking after
me: i cant just look after him -_-
kate: sit on that chair and watch him
me : fine.

bed 27 is a confused psychopath who ran away from the alfred hospital and was found in albert park drugged or something so he needs 24 hour survillence.

so his security gaurd went to lunch or morning tea or one of the 958454093 breaks the nurses take. ( and as if i can take on the job of a security gaurd. )

so i just sat there.

THEN HE GOT UP !

i panicked for a bit. cos i thought he was trying to escape.

my eyes like followed him ( made my eyes bigger to try t o scare him -_- )

and he walked past me . NOW I REALLY PANICKED.

and into the toilet .

then the security gaurd came back


so i went back to the spot on the floor . -__-
mmm.. then i just sat there for another 15 mins .. was getting reeeealllly sleepy when suddenly figure walks past in the distance , stops and stares at me .

then he took me downstairs ( thankgod away from the boring wards) and tried to force feed me coffee. -_-

i refused like 83549879 times so he decided to give me a tour of the hospital . It was funny =p we wernt allowed to be in half the wards ( like the emergency ward ) but yan would stand outside the locked door with his 6 seperate alfred hospital tags and try every one of them to see if they open the doors.

it didnt work so we stood there andwaited for a surgeon to walk by and he would say in his "doctor voice "

" im sorry, my tag doesnt work , can we try yours ."

and ill try my best to look nursey .

the old asian doctor was like "okayyyy" in a suspicious voice. ( cos really why would a random dermatologist and a work ex student have a need to be in the er ward. )

lovely ! so i had my tour of the hospital ( thankfully with yan and not that scary chief nurse who is some fat old annoying man who pretends to be nice )

and went back upstairs to sit .

i was away for like 45 mins and the nusrses and doctors were so " busy" when i got back.


anwyay im tired . i cbf blogging abt the rest of the day .

i was on a sugar high this afternoon cos i was happoy i didnt have to go back and sit on the floor anymore.




update! on a thursday !

mmm.. right now i'm on work experience as you may know.
i am working in the alfred hospital , its near the city / st kilda.its awesome.
on monday , i got to do heaps of stuff and seemany things ( mainly penises and vagianas cos i work in the renal ward .)

on tuesday i got to hang out with a super cute gay doctor called scott while he did a plasma transplant . its went for 3 hours .. so it was just me scott and a old british lady =p

then i followed lousie , another doctor who was doing a kidney dialysis.
that went for 3 hours too but i stayed only for like 15 mins.. HA.

yesterday ( wednesday )
i met a very cute nurse called pete. very cute =p
and i got paired with like extremely nice but extremely uh.. pudgey nurse called tara who went around hugging people -_- and she calls pete ,boyfriend pete.
i asked her why and she was like : " its in my fantasy ."

when she hugs pete , pete would be like ..... = ! then =) .

aww he is so cute but he gets a bit scared when tara screames boyfriend pete from across the room. i dont blame him , she runs up to him and gives him a massive hugs -_-

awesome . anyway today was the most boring day cos i had paula as the supervisor. she is the most boring person to be partnered with on earth .

it was huge ! i couldnt carry it with one arm ! i dropped it on a doctors foot -_-

anyway she sat me down and told me to read it .

even worse i got put next to the receptionist , nicole. she is a BITCH -_-

i cant stand her , she gives me greasies for no reason and we give each other bad vibes since day 1. she give me fake smiles and i give her heaps of attitude -_-

so i sat there from 12-2:20 reading abt fkn reflex epilepsies , strokes , seizures and neurology problems. SIGH . and i stole nicole's pen . she was like WHERE IS MY BLASTED PEN . i just threw it behind the computer. >=).

and then i went to one of their little parties in the tea room cos one of the nurses were leaving. then yan came to vist me but he couldnt find me cos i was in the tea room staring , laughing and nodding enthusiastically at tarquin =) pete stayed for a while but left cos he got paged. when i went in paula was in that . that sonofabitch she didnt even come get me when the party started, just left me to read there. i dont like her at all.

bitch.

anyway after work i met zhen and xinni



coming back from work was the best i sit at the tram stop for 15 mins watching wesley boys play soccer cos their school oval is opposite the alfred. =p hehhehhe.



at xinni's work place , 385 bourke street which was a law firm.
