Before i harp on abt the cutest week i've had , i better talk abt what i did last week or bean will think i don't love her anymore cos she has been reminding me to blog and i have been ignoring her.

i went to brunch with BEAN <3



quite tasty .

i was eating my wedges and was about to touch the burger when xinni screamed and pushed my hand away with much gusto. then she pulled out her camera and started taking photos -_- you can see my lonely potato wedge still in the sour cream.



it was extremely sunny that day and all of this week , that weather i love.

then i dyed my hair .



and slept over at mish's house with a few other friends where we watched 4 movies straight -_-

my dad also came down from singapore , so that was good.

however, this week i've been at church 4 days in a row doing vbs =D !

honestly , vbs is ALWAYS my highlight of term 3 holidays.
its when lil kiddies from prep to grade 6 come down from all the main chinese churches in melbourne to a day's worth of activities.



this year i did the grade 2 class cos i love the middle aged kids. they aren't smart arses like the grade 5 and 6s but can understand what you are talking about unlike the preps and grade ones. but they are still young enough to enjoy simple games like scarecrow tiggy or what's the time mr wolf -_-

i always take the middle grades , i took the grade 3s last time with seong jin =p
when they all adored seong jin cos he babied everyone of them and let them climb all over him .

i'm a bit .. =p cos i favoured 3 students in particular.
its not my fault ! they were sooooooooooooooooooo adorable. millie , daniel and sara . but the whole class was generally cute .



my grade 2s.

this yr's theme was the fruits of the spirit. love, joy , peace , paitience , kindness, goodness , gentleness and self control. ( ive been learning them since my mum put me in sunday school when i was in prep.)

so having the word FRUIT instantly turned our theme into a country farm theme -_-

so the church was turned into a farm with props everywhere , it was pretty cool.
i had to make a tree with a few other friends to put in the middle of the church xD it was reaaaallly dodgy but you could kinda see taht it was a tree.
carrots and cabbages were made to put aroudn the church and hay bales were everywhere. there was even a petting zoo farm thing at the front xD

you had to wait 043579470540385 hours just to get in cos all the lil kiddies wanted to go in 30 times before they were satisfied. they let the lil kids in before the helpers cos you know , kids come first.





there was a really cute goat that looked like a dog and a chicken with furring feet . LOL ! i loved chasing the chicken around going ehhehehheheheheh.

the boys got bored and started making pyramids -_- vanessa took like 50 pictures of them and i had to deleate 3/4 of them cos they were all the same or them with different numbers of boys in the pyramid.





during the 4 days of vbs i did too many things to blog so i'll give an outline of it.
the grade 2s followed a time table like everyone else but we have it in different order.

1) we always started with SNACK <3

LOL snack was so lame / funny. the aunties tried to relate the snack to the farm theme. like putting really crushed cookies a tthe bottom to a plastic cup then filling it with chocolate pudding and then adding more crushed cookies . they then stuffed sour worms into the "soil" and called it " worm soil"

LOL

then in beween we would have janean's play time -_- where we always played one type of tiggy. there were at least 10 variations of tiggy but we played scarecrow and toiletbowl tiggy the most . =D they screamed ALOT.they would scream even louder if i was it and when i tagged them , they would still keep running =p

2) bible story and study =D
that was cute too.



3) SONG TIME <3
this was my time to mingle with the youth ppl cos they all were doing song time except for me -_-



they learn songs to sing and dance at the musical for their parents on the last day of vbs.

the songs delieverd a really simple but good message. stuff like be paitient and god love you =p they were really american with kiddies singing with really strong american accents.

my favourite song was GOOD FRUIT. =p i liked the message.

oh yeh . we aren't practising on the stage cos one of the kids barfed on it .

and a moment to remember was when i was sitting with my frieds on the chairs cos i was taking a lil break and when the kids finished song time , sara ran from teh group in the front to the back to hug me and hold my hand telling me that they were finished 0_o

everyone was like AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW but i didnt know what to say so i just half carried half hagged her? LOL

lol i love sara.

4) CRAFTTT TIME <3

i liked that too =D belle was there to help so i usually sat on the same table .



here they are making er.. some sun thing with a memory verse. they made pretty cool things like pouches and lil pillows =p

there is daniel btw at the bottom =p

5) games !

the kids loved this -_- they screamed alottttt. and climbed all over tim and incy . the always lied to kick the leaders and hit them . =p



in the second photo is mille . one of my 3 faves . she was so cute and sooooooo loud / enthusiastic so i gave her student of the day, yesterday.

then on teh last day ( yesterday) they had their musical and that was cute . i tried posting one of the songs but ITS NOT WORKING >=(

ah well .

i love lil kids cos they aren't judgemental . evn the ugly ones have friends =p
they can work as a group with only one arguement of " SHE HIT ME !!!!!"
and no " I DONT WANT TO BE IN HIS GROUP"

its pretty good.
