Well , three weeks into the school week.

I just had my first outcome (bio), that was kinda stressful even though it wasn't that hard .

( cos i went for like 3 study sessions and i had some freak out session myself at 1am when i was in bed and was like CRAP "what is a valid experiment" and looked at my notes for the 675093485904 time)

and i stressed

On friday night ,my homestay had a chinese new year party =p
It was kinda lame cos after dinner we went to the park to watch them shoot hoops with their friends -_-

boring.

Then there were the tb girlfriends of the guys that scream at everything. There was one who claimed she saw a ghost . and i said how did the ghost look? , she covered her ears and screamed.

tea and i were just like .. um ok .

melina and tea slept over but xin went home.

On saturday , i did abit of homework then went to church.
IT . WAS. SO . HOT.

It was sooo gross cos i could see white marks from dried up sweat on people's black shirts.

On a lighter note ,
Our youth group leader announced her wedding date .
YAY ! something to dress up to. Congrats Ray and Jayna !


At night , tea and i went to the box hill festival at 11 cos her brother decided to cos his gf was only available then.
boring. we walked around super busy streets ( despite it being like 12) and did nothing really but talk to a few people.
oh well , chinese new year spirit , woo.

Well it is the chinese new year today , so happy chinese new year.

oooh , reminding me to call singapore at 4.

So.

time has been flying realllly fast. I've been with these homestay buddies for 2 weeks and i've felt like i've been here for a year .

well at the start of the year and maybe all my life , i made an assumption that fobs meaning mainland chinese were all annoying - keeptothemselves - selfish people that speak only chinese.

well i still stand by the selfish and speak only chinese part sometimes cos tehy really do but using the 7 fobs in my homestay as a sample , i really like fobs. Well some of them.

For those who are not familiar with the term "fob" .

it means overseas asians who don't speak english.

I learnt 10 things about these people.

1) Fobs have selective hearing.

Last night the guys brought home a couple of girls who were quite .. er..loud and annoying.
I was trying to watch a korean drama with leo , sky and cindy but they kept screaming and laughing like witches for 15 mins straight.

i got so annoyed that i said "YOU GUYS ARE REALLY LOUD YOU KNOW, SHUT UP !!!"

You know .. they have REALLY selective hearing cos when i tried to start a convo with them earlier , they didn't know ANY english and cindy had to translate everything.

they didn't even understand " where did you go today ?"
but they understood "YOU GUYS ARE REALLY LOUD YOU KNOW, SHUT UP !!!"

well i think so cos they instantly fell silent and stayed silent for an hour before they started screaming again.

2) Fobs eat alot and don't put on weight.

While i was watching the korean drama with leo , sky and cindy .
The two boys ate instant noodles , many packets of chips ( as in those mini ones in a big bag ) they ate like 6 each . And drank excessive amounts of coke.

They are still so slim. it is so annoying.

i didn't wana touch any of it cos i knew my genes aren't like their's -_- .

3) Fobs love pictures .

We took many photos using our phones and they were never satisfied with the photo. i had to narrow like 10 photos down to 3 .

4) Fob girls are very screamy.

very . very screamy . We also had a pillow fight last night xD LOL and cindy screamed so loudly until susanna stormed in demanding us to be quiet . ( oh happy bday susie xD )

5) Fobs spend money like crazy.

the two female guests and the other boys not counting us who were watching the korean drama went to the supermarket and bought the whole supermarket. Seriously , they came back with 10 shopping bags and they bought REALLY random stuff like three cartons of 40 cans of coke and sparklers.

Which leads us to ..

6) Fobs girls would spend any amount of money on the guys they fancy.

And on the most random things . Use the previous info to figure it out.

7) All fobs like RNB alot.

It is TRUE. I have not found one who likes anything else except for rnb and asian music. ( ahem melina , perfect specimen of a fob)
Except for leo and i who got excited over the fact that we both love daft punk. But he is korean , not mainland chinese fob.

8) Fobs love annoying small dogs ,

Like wasabi the house pomeranian.
They all really adore it .
I . HATE . IT

9) They copy each other in terms of speech.

I taught them the word bitch and now they are all saying it .
it is hilarious watching fobs walking around greeting themselves with a " hey bitch"

And the like the phrase " GOOD I -DEA " and "GOOD JOB" ( with a thumbs up too ! )
They always say I - dea not idea. its funny.

10) But fobs are fun to hang out with all through the night.

I tend to finish all my homework im the day on friday and the weekend cos we always hang out at night.

last night , we played truth and dare but using card instead of spinning a bottle xD
it was so much fun and they are all so horny. but that isn't why .. don't worry mum -_- .

Year 12 has finally started and it is actually quite fun =p
mb cos the full on stress hasn't kicked it.

i got a top locker ( SCORE T_T ) and HAHAHHA i get to look down ( literally) on all you tiny little people scurrying to get your books so my massive books don't break your skulls. HAH.

i LOVE the first week of school , the stress isn't really there yet , the main topic is just gossip gossip gossip.

The year 12 common room is SOOOOO packed with a sea of black headed asians with blunt cut fringes just SPILLING out of it. i looked in and wsl ike omg hell no and went to the outside tables with anu .

oh and we walked by a new guy . he has got REALLY frickin blonde hair and BLUE eyes and looks like he literally jumped out of a surf movie. i was like "hey new guy !" and anu was like "Yeh ! he is from hongkong ! Lived there for like 14 years." ...

what the ..wow, random -_- ?

umm , homestay is actually good , i have to admit. dining with 5 guys and a girl isn't very ideal but hearing then natter in chinese is , i guess better than eating by myself in my room like last year.

i hope i have a good year =p

and i've started a BAN msn year .
i advised them to let their family members change their msn passwords as influenced by shauna.
melina and xinni and dying already and it is only the 2nd day.

har. har.

Well.

I'm back in melbourne =p

How awesome am i ? i fully unpacked my WHOLE room in just 2 days.
A new year , a new homestay house.

Last night , i dined with 7, yes.. 7 homestay kids on the same table.
It was crazy -_- they were talking and talking and even LAUGHING in a chinese manner.

you know how some asian people laugh like " KAKAKKAKA " or " KEKEKEKKE" ??
yeh. -_-

the house has ... 8 homestay kids. one of the homestay kid's mums , the homestay mum and dad , the daughter and son.

so thats 12 squished into a house for you .

I just can't WAIT till shauna ( sister) comes at the end of feb to make a baker's dozen.
( for idiots who don't know , a baker's dozen is 13.)

yeh. well the fobs are having so much fun together , talking in their native language so i think i'll go be a loner and watch nickelodeon. T_T

Final school year starts tmr , wish me luck.
